NEW YORK – A group of researchers working as part of the National Institute of Aging-funded Consortium for Clarity in ADRD Research Through Imaging (CLARiTI) is using Alamar Biosciences’ NULISAseq Neuro 220 proteomics panel to profile roughly 21,000 plasma samples from around 10,000 individuals.
The effort will generate a large-scale plasma proteomic dataset that the researchers hope to use to improve detection of Alzheimer’s and other neurological proteinopathies that often co-occur with Alzheimer’s, said Sterling Johnson, professor of geriatrics and dementia at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and one of the leaders of the project…
