NULISAseq™ Neuro 220
Pilot Program

What could you uncover with a more complete view of neurodegenerative disease biology?

Researchers in Australia and New Zealand affiliated with an academic institution, hospital, biotech, biopharma or research organization are invited to apply for Neuro 220 Panel analysis performed by Geneworks Pty Ltd. Applications open 16 September 2026 and close 11:59 PM AEST on 30 September 2026 (2:59 AM NZDT, 1 October). Eligibility criteria and the Terms and Conditions below apply.

Two (2) research projects will each be awarded analysis of up to 43 samples using the Neuro 220 Panel (a full kit processes 86 samples), providing deep insight into the biological mechanisms underlying neurological disease.

The Neuro 220 Panel measures 220 protein biomarkers from a single sample with ultra-high sensitivity, supporting research across Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ALS/motor neuron disease, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, gliomas, and other neurological disorders.

For ALS/MND research, Neuro 220 gives a systems-level view of disease biology across protein aggregation and proteostasis, neuronal injury, inflammation, and synaptic function — which may help identify molecular subtypes and co-pathologies for patient stratification, and support biomarker-driven therapeutic development across pathways including SOD1, TDP-43 (TARDBP), STMN2, and NfL and NEFH.

The panel also features:

  • 13 tau assays, including eMTBR-Tau, a marker associated with tau tangle burden
  • 25 Parkinson’s disease biomarkers developed with support from The Michael J. Fox Foundation
  • Detection of low-abundance biomarkers in plasma or CSF
  • Automated workflows for high reproducibility and scalability

Recipients cover sample shipping (including customs, duties, and any biosecurity import permits), are expected to complete the project within six (6) months of data delivery, and agree to one dissemination activity (seminar, webinar, blog post, case study, or poster) within twelve (12) months of completion.

Terms and Conditions

1. Sponsor and Acceptance

Alamar Biosciences, Inc., 47071 Bayside Parkway, Fremont, California 94538, USA (“Alamar”) and Geneworks Pty Ltd (ABN [61 070 039 913]), 28 Dalgleish Street, Thebarton, SA 5031, Australia (“Geneworks”) are the sponsors of the NULISAseq™ Neuro 220 Pilot Program (the “Program”). No purchase or payment is necessary. Awards are made on scientific merit as assessed by the judges, not by chance.

By submitting an application, each applicant (“Applicant”) agrees to these Terms and Conditions (these “Terms”) and to the decisions of Alamar, Geneworks and their judges, which are final and binding on matters of eligibility and selection. Any additional Program details published at alamarbio.com or by Geneworks form part of these Terms.

These Terms incorporate the Alamar Grant Programs Terms and Conditions at alamarbio.com/grant-program-terms-and-conditions/ (the “General Grant Terms”). For this Program, each reference to “Alamar” in the General Grant Terms includes Geneworks, each acting severally. These Terms prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.

2. Eligibility

An Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and must be actively enrolled at, or employed in a research capacity by, an academic institution, hospital, biotech, biopharma or other research organization. An Applicant must have access to samples suitable for the proposed project, together with the rights and approvals necessary to provide them to Geneworks, and must have or reasonably expect to obtain institutional authorization to accept an Award.

Employees, officers, directors, and contractors of Alamar, Geneworks and their respective affiliates, members of their immediate families, and persons living in the same household as any such individual are not eligible.

The Program is not open where prohibited or restricted by law. Neither Alamar nor Geneworks will make an Award to any person or entity located in, or subject to the jurisdiction of, a country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. economic sanctions, or identified on a U.S., Australian, or New Zealand restricted-party or sanctions list.

3. The Award

Each award of Panel analysis services made under the Program is an “Award,” and the person to whom an Award is made is a “Recipient.”

Number of Awards: 2.

Each Award consists of analysis of up to 43 samples using the NULISAseq™ Neuro 220 Panel, performed by Geneworks. Alamar and Geneworks may adjust the number of samples in an Award to suit the 86-sample kit configuration.

Accepted sample types: human plasma, serum, or cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)

Alamar and Geneworks cover the standard Neuro 220 Panel analysis service and standard bioinformatics report. The Recipient covers sample collection, shipping (including customs, duties, and any biosecurity or import permits), and any additional bioinformatics services beyond that report. Neither Alamar nor Geneworks is responsible for samples damaged, degraded, or lost in transit.

An Award is not a cash grant and may not be exchanged for cash or an alternative award. Its approximate value is A$22,323.50. An Award is personal to the Recipient and may not be transferred or assigned, except that Alamar and Geneworks may permit it to be administered by the Recipient’s institution. Alamar and Geneworks may make fewer Awards than stated, or none, if in their judgment an insufficient number of applications meet the selection criteria.

4. How to Apply, Selection, and Timeline

Applications must be submitted using the form on the Program page at alamarbio.com and must include a project abstract, sample cohort summary, proposed timeline, and institutional affiliation. The Program opens 16 September 2026. Submissions must be received by 11:59 PM local time for applicant on Wednesday, 30 September 2026. Applications that are incomplete or late will not be considered, and neither Alamar nor Geneworks is responsible for applications lost, delayed, misdirected, or not received, except to the extent caused by its own act or omission.

Judges selected by Alamar and Geneworks, who may include their employees and external scientific advisors under confidentiality obligations, will evaluate applications on: access to banked samples with clinical annotations; ability to complete the project within six (6) months of data delivery; and scientific merit and potential for publication in a high-impact peer-reviewed journal.

Recipients will be notified by email on or about three (3) weeks after the closing date (expected during the week of 19 October 2026), and all Applicants will receive confirmation of receipt. A Recipient must respond within ten (10) business days and complete the documentation Alamar and Geneworks reasonably require before services begin, which may include a work plan or service agreement, a material transfer agreement with the entity receiving the samples, and written institutional approval. Failure to respond, ineligibility, or failure to complete that documentation may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate.
